The surgery coordinator was very responsive and they were able to squeeze Howlie in for tie back surgery 2 days later. While we did not have insurance for Howlie, we were able to use Care Credit to pay for the procedure. VSC used the internet for payment through our phones so there was no need to stop at a desk to help mitigate any spread of COVID which we appreciated. We are now 4 weeks past surgery and Howlie is doing so great. We appreciate all the care and great instruction VSC gave us to properly take care of our girl after her surgery. She was not even scared to go back for her recheck which surprised us as she is not a fan of the vet hospital in general. Anytime my pets need surgery, we will head up to VSC because they have our confidence and trust.

The doctor in charge of Tye, I believe her name is Dr. Gomez, was above and beyond. She answered all my questions, provided lots of information, took amazing care of my Tye, and overall was just awesome throughout this experience. This place does not get the justice it deserves through these reviews. As I said before, it truly does depend on the situation and when it comes to our furry babies we all are willing to do anything for them. Currently we are still awaiting our results to see if Tye does have cancerous masses but I had to take time and write this review because I still cannot get over how great our experience was. Thank you Veterinary Speciality Center for your hard work and positive attitudes throughout these times!!

其他的医疗机构都允许病人来见医生。兽医行业也该做同样的事情了。我不能带我的宠物进来真是太疯狂了。我的宠物不能代表他们说话或主张。兽医行业需要重新开始允许人类与动物一起接受治疗。你不会把你的孩子丢在停车场给一个你不认识的人吧?或者不带孩子去看医生?你是去买杂货还是去商店?还是你就坐在停车场。COVID现在被用作借口,不允许人类与医生进行任何互动。 It’s outrageous and pet parents need to take a stand.

Instead telling kelsey she would recieve all documents in her email in 30minutes. After over 2 hours of waiting and multiple calls there were still no instructions on how to care for this patient. After asking for him to be seen by several specialists, GI Doctors, extra neurologists- the vet literally said NO. I asked for him to be sent home with nutrical, along eith the door he was given in the hospital. A vet tech in the back said he was on "generic puppy food", the front desk said he was eating "purina pro plan", the night vet Mrs Megan Kanda said he was on royal canin. A quick switch of food on a 1.5 pound toy breed dog, can increase their chances of pancrearitis and spikes in blood sugar. ESPECIALLY IF THE PET CANT MAINTAIN THEIR OWN BLOODSUGAR! They wouldn't send food home, and Said they didn't even have nutrical but to use KAYRO SYRUP from the store. KAYRO SYRUP and NUTRICAL are entirely different products. And work different for a a struggling pup... Anyone in the vet field would never send a pet home without care instructions... Without being on a dextrose drip, this vet knew he was supposed to be fed MORE than every 4 hours. He ultimately died at home due to negligence of the vets. Let me also add FUNDS WERE NEVER AND HAVE NEVER BEEN AN ISSUE. This pup was followed by a large community, several rescues, and had a fighting chance. Funds were never an issue and we would have dumped thousands more into him... these vets just didn't want to do their job. That all being said, I do think that the vets and vet techs do their absolute professional best with what they have and I have to believe that my cat was in good hands. I know they did everything they could to save her. And when it was time to say goodbye, I could be by my sweet girl’s side, and the vet techs were very sympathetic and understanding. This would have been a four star review, but what happened next has done nothing but make me suspicious, bitter and resentful, and I absolutely can not recommend this company to anybody. The vet tech told me, “when you are ready to leave, it is ok, just go straight out the doors. You don’t need to talk to the front desk or anything like that. We understand.” But when I finally went to leave, this woman from the reception desk CHASED ME OUT THE DOOR, demanding immediate payment, throwing an invoice at me, saying it was their “policy.” It was HORRIBLE. It was so disturbing and such a lack of sympathy or understanding, and truly just basic communication with their other staff. Now I am doubting everything and regretting that I brought her to this awful place. I will always regret my decision to bring her here and not somewhere else, if she could have had better treatment someplace less crowded, somewhere less focused on maximizing their bottom line. I will truly never know if this company is genuinely doing the best for our beloved pets, or if they are taking advantage of desperate pet parents to squeeze every last cent out of them. Find somewhere else to bring your pet for emergency care.

在过去,我只能对VSC说些积极的话。医生诊断为贫血,并为我的儿子进行了输血。江南娱乐主页不幸的是,从那时起,医生和工作人员就不再一样了。我14岁的儿子,一只比正常的玩具曼彻斯特梗大,在2021年6月被VSC的急诊室误诊。即使第二次带他回去,我还是相信了他们。我怀疑他是癫痫发作,但VSC诊断出晕厥与他的心脏和肾脏疾病有关。我被告知,因为他很清醒,在发作后还能认出我,所以不可能是癫痫发作,而是晕厥。是癫痫发作。如果在7月10日结束的这场折磨之初就做出了正确的诊断,他可能还活着。他应该已经服用了三周的抗癫痫药物。 But he wasn’t and I, ultimately, had to make the heart breaking decision to put him to sleep because of the severity and frequency of the seizures. I am calling out VSC for its incorrect diagnosis and inappropriate treatment of my boy. How they could not tell the difference between syncope and a seizure does not make sense to me. I want to make it perfectly clear that VSC acknowledged he had episodes while in their care both the first time which was a two night observation stay and second brief visit. I don’t know if the determination it was a syncope was made by tech or a doc. As a matter of fact, I know at least one of its techs did not care about my boy. June 21, when my boy was discharged from two nights of observation, I saw that uncaring attitude towards my boy first hand. While on the phone talking to VSC’s admin staff about the bill, I saw the tech drag my boy off the curb with him falling into the hospital’s driveway as she brought him to my car. She was clueless and completely uncaring when I called her out on what happened. I spoke with her manager two days later but nothing. I hung up the phone thinking these people don’t care. I will never go to VSC again. PERIOD!!! I would advise against it unless it is a last resort because of the lack of ER vets in our area.

Update: Now I feel bad for writing this review. They did a good job on his nose, but I only wish they would have been forthright and honorable to admit their mistake. When choosing a vet, please be sure that you can TRUST the one you choose, because it's your pet's life at stake.
