这是我的经验,我希望它能帮助他人。我最近访问了这个老Tappan兽医。第一次;既然如此我确保所有记录被派过去。通过一个朋友的好评。我很期待爱上一个好的兽医;我们有3个狗.....看到一个潜在的大客户。我走了进来,可爱。我感觉很好,寄予厚望!这就是.....留下的希望在等候室。 I am sure the body of staff does not reflect my experience with Dr. Kenny but she was one of the biggest disappointments in all my years of owning dogs. She simply can not think outside of the box. She has her standard script and does not listen to the patient....ie. I took two of our babies--a 17 year( just to get his nails trimmed) and 15 year (exam) old pugs. Both in excellent condition given there age. Current medication rimadyl. I had scheduled the appointment to renew my script. My female pug is blind, has difficult with her back legs (thus the rimadyl) but overall VERY LOVED and a thriving old lady. Even though I made if very clear I looking to keep my babies comfortable and happy since they are in the golden years but I am not looking to spend a fortune to keep them alive.....so just the prescription please, and when I start to see signs of there time I will come back. Dr. Kenny's very nice response well lets take a look. Now please hear me. Both our old dogs are on rimadyl for the rest of there lives. Without this anti-inflammatory she has a hard time walking and the male has a hard time with his neck. Simple deduction they have to stay on it. Dr. Kenny just would not give up her sales pitches. You need to have blood drawn to determine her liver levels. I said I understand but why would I have blood drawn to check something I can not change. That conversation took 10 min. After that it was please know I can only give you enough rimadyl for your female since she had the appointment. And I will only give you enough for 30 days because we need you to come back to see us so we can examine her to give you another script. Why wouldn't she just be a GREAT vet and say..... "man its so hard watching your dear loved one get older suffer and be close to hitting there time. We are happy to support you during this phase. I will give you 3 months and then check in with me." Side note: I am so tired of people being less than for the dollar!!!!! Her next pitch....fixing her eyes and that I should come back to see one of the specialist and we could work to help her. I than said ok......"can you improve her eye sight? " The answer NO!!! but she may make her more comfortable. This was another 10 min. Her next pitch.......with being on heart guard....yada yada yada. At the beginning of this appointment I felt so good. Felt good I was getting the babies nails done, meds, etc. After all her constant sales pitches making me feel like a bad mom....that I dont want to invest thousands of dollars that really does nothing to help my dog. She is very old sleeps all the time and just gets loved. At this point I told her "You are not listening to me" Next time I want a money maker vet that can't tap into her patients, I would go to oradell. But to add Dr. Kenny's lack of ability to think for herself. Waste of time and money. I really didn't know if she was in the business of vet care or marketing for the practice. I wont be returning. To all others.......DO NOT SCHEDULE WITH DR. KENNY!!!! Below par care!!
