Dr. Beach is both knowledgeable & thorough, she always takes the time to explain things. I also love that she is more up to date than most vets that I’ve seen on risk vs benefit with certain medications & procedures, and treats animals like individuals instead of trying to use a one size fits all approach. She really understands that care can vary from animal to animal, which is so important!

If you have a fax, it was not posted online or anywhere on the bills or paperwork you'd given me, and you didn't give it to me at any of our appointments with you. So you just wanted me to call so you could argue with me?" Zero professionalism. I'm so DONE with this place. Update on 9/24/20: Dr. Beach just left us a voice message stating that bcuz of this review, they refuse to fill our animals' prescriptions, sent to them via an online med company that was waaaay cheaper. Last week they said they would do it no, no problem. Now we have to pay to have all 6 animals seen at a NEW vet, right on the heels of us JUST having paid Countryside to do just that last week. WOW. JUST WOW. Our review from last week: Vet Carsyn Beach, DVM, had no interest in really helping me with my pets at my appointments this past week. Pet #1: I took in my newly-adopted rescued dog separately, since I am quarantining him for mange, fleas n ticks, and all the other ailments of a neglected animal. I had already taken him to 2 other vets along the drive back from the South where I found and rescued him. Dr. Beach had little patience for my questions and actually left me in the vet room about half an hour, without telling me she was done and not coming back in. I had to pop my head outside and ask if they were done with us or not. She just wanted to prescribe him different meds than I had gotten from the other 2 vets. She charged me $114.20 for a simple antibiotic that would have been 36 bucks through a popular online pet prescription website. Also $53.78 for tri-hear plus pills that costs $32.99 almost everywhere else. The upcharge is OBSCENE, and the office staff got very uncomfortable and then rude when I said something about it after paying the bill and going home to review the charges. I need to find to a vet here in the valley who loves animals more than they do money. Pet #2: Back in the spring, we took in our 1.5 year old dog because he was limping like an old man dog. Their vet surgeon Dr. Rick Scherr said he needed double elbow surgery. It was such a slow, 6-8 week recovery with zero physical activity at all. We literally had to isolate him to a room and carry him up and down the stairs to go potty. They had to replace the stitches on one side several weeks in. Fast-forward 3 months and I take him back in for his annual check-up. Dr. Beach did a cursory glance at him that lasted just a few minutes. As she went to leave, I asked her to pleaee check his elbows, because he is STILL limping, just like before the horrible surgeries. She checks the dog's arms and says, "Wow, yes, they ARE a bit swollen." I asked if the surgeon could check him, and she said yes. I asked when, and she said, "He only comes here once in a great while. But sure, we can let you know when he comes." Here's the kicker: When I told them I want to get the rest of my rescued dog's prescription meds through the online seller, they told me just to have that seller fax them an order, and they would gladly send the prescriptions. Guess what? Countryside doesn't have a fax!!! They charge less for certain services, but don't be fooled! I compared their prices to that of the same prescription meds through some online and order-by-mail vendors, and the differences were ASTOUNDING. Do not buy your pets' meds here! I need a veterinarian who cares more about animals than about MAKING MONEY.
